On July 1, 2016, the newly elected municipal officials, barangay officials, guests from the provincial government, men in uniforms, other guests and thousands of supporters of Mayor Hanie Bud gathered together at the Municipal Ground to witnessed the turn-over and inauguration ceremony. This is the day where many people are optimistic and hopeful on the present leadership and believe that Mayor Bud can transform and rebuild Maluso Municipality from its present status into a reformed one.
The four points agenda of the current leadership includes but not limited to the following;
1. Functionality of Local Governance
2. Peace and Order
3. Economic Development
4. Youth Leadership Development
The Mayor also emphasized in his inaugural address that drugs problem in the municipality must be eradicated and made Maluso Drug Free Zone in support to President Duterte’s advocacy on War on Drugs.
